Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information GenderRevealHub ("we", "us", "our") collects on GenderRevealHub.com, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies together with our Terms of Use.
1. Information we collect
Moms (Mom Sign-Up form)
When you sign up to plan a gender reveal, we collect:
- your first and last name;
- your email address;
- your mobile phone number, if you give it for SMS reminders;
- your city;
- whether you know your appointment date, and the date if you give it;
- the vendor who referred you, if you enter one or arrive through a vendor's link or QR code; and
- your consent to receive email and SMS reminders.
If you use the gender reveal result feature, we also handle the gender reveal result entered by your doctor or clinic and the vendor you choose to receive it.
Vendors (Vendor Listing form)
When you list or claim a business, we collect the business name, contact name, email, phone, city, category, website, whether you take online orders, and whether this is a new listing or a claim of an existing listing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our site and our hosting provider automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This is used to run, secure and measure the site, and to protect our forms from spam.
2. How we use information
- To provide the service: create your sign-up or listing, connect moms with vendors, and deliver the gender reveal result to the vendor you choose.
- To send the email and SMS reminders you asked for about your appointment and gender reveal.
- To review and approve vendor listings, verify claims, and contact vendors about their listing.
- To credit the vendor who referred you and show them first when you choose a vendor.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To keep the site safe, prevent spam and fraud, and enforce our Terms.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To comply with the law.
3. How we share information
- With the vendor you choose. When you select a vendor, we share the information you choose to share with that vendor so they can make your gender reveal. This can include your name, contact details, city, appointment date and your gender reveal result. Your gender reveal result is shared only with the vendor or vendors you choose. Vendors are independent businesses, and their use of your information is also covered by their own policies.
- Vendor listing details. Approved listings are shown publicly in the directory: business name, city, category, a short description, website, whether you take online orders and whether the listing has been claimed. We do not publish a vendor's contact email or phone without the vendor's agreement.
- Service providers. We use trusted service providers that process information for us, such as our hosting providers, which host the website and store the sign-up and listing form submissions, and providers that deliver email and text messages. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Marketing by others only with your consent. We share your personal information with partners for their own marketing only if you have given your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may share information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, vendors or GenderRevealHub.
- Business changes. If GenderRevealHub is involved in a merger, sale or transfer of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal, subject to this policy.
4. Health information and your privacy
We treat your gender reveal result as sensitive, health-related information.
- Fully encrypted. All your data, including your gender reveal result, is fully encrypted, both in transit and at rest, and shared only with the vendor you choose.
- Shared only with the vendor you choose. Your gender reveal result goes only to the specific vendor or vendors you choose to make your gender reveal.
- Never sold, never used for ads. We never sell your gender reveal result and never use it for advertising or ad targeting.
- Limited access. Access to your gender reveal result is limited to what is needed to deliver it to the vendor you choose.
Once your chosen vendor receives your gender reveal result, the vendor must keep it confidential under our Terms of Use.
5. Aggregated and de-identified data
We may combine information into aggregated or de-identified form that does not identify you, for example the number of gender reveal sign-ups in a city or the most popular vendor categories. We may use this data to run and grow GenderRevealHub, and we may share it with vendors, advertisers and partners. We do not try to re-identify de-identified data. Aggregated or de-identified data never includes any individual's gender reveal result, and we never use an individual gender reveal result for advertising or ad targeting.
6. Ads and partner offers
The site may show ads and offers from us, vendors and other partners. If you choose to respond to a partner's offer, that partner's own privacy policy applies to the information you give them. We never use your gender reveal result for ads or partner offers.
If we or our partners show interest-based ads, you can limit them through your browser and device settings, and through industry opt-out tools such as optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
7. Emails and text messages
We send reminders by email and, if you give your mobile number, by SMS, because you agreed to them when you signed up. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
- SMS: reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to hi@genderrevealhub.com.
We may still send messages needed to handle a request you made, such as confirming a vendor listing.
If you no longer want gender reveal reminders for any reason, including a pregnancy loss, reply STOP or email hi@genderrevealhub.com and we will stop all reminders. We can also delete your sign-up if you ask.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our site and our hosting provider use cookies, browser storage and similar technologies to run the site, keep a secure session for submitting forms, prevent spam and measure site use. The site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the site, such as the forms, may then not work.
9. Third-party links and features
The site links to vendor websites and other third-party sites. If you visit them or order from a vendor, their own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for how third parties handle your information.
10. Hosting and data storage
The website is hosted by our trusted hosting providers, and the website's Mom Sign-Up and Vendor Listing form submissions, contacts and listings are stored with them. They act as our service providers (processors) and handle this information on our behalf. Your gender reveal result is not stored or processed by our website hosting providers. It is handled separately on our own systems. Your information may be processed in countries other than the one you live in, and we take steps to protect it as described in this policy.
11. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the service and for the purposes described in this policy, until you ask us to delete it. We may keep some information longer where needed to respond to questions or claims, to keep records required by law, or to prevent fraud and abuse.
12. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to withdraw a consent you gave, by emailing hi@genderrevealhub.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, such as the right to know what we collect, to receive a copy of your data, or to object to certain uses. US state rights are described in the next section. We will respond as the law requires and will not treat you differently for using your rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
13. California and other US state privacy rights
Residents of California and some other US states have additional rights under state privacy laws. Subject to those laws, you can ask us:
- what categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we use it and who we disclose it to;
- to correct or delete your personal information;
- to receive a copy of your personal information; and
- to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, or of targeted advertising.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined by California law, unless you have given your consent. You can withdraw consent and opt out at any time by emailing hi@genderrevealhub.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share".
Sensitive and health-related information. We use sensitive information, including your gender reveal result and pregnancy-related details such as your appointment date, only to provide the service you asked for, as described in the "Health information and your privacy" section.
The categories of personal information we collect, the sources, purposes and recipients are described in sections 1 to 3 of this policy. To make a request, email hi@genderrevealhub.com. You may use an authorized agent, and we may need to verify your identity, or the agent's authority, before we respond. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
14. Security
We use reasonable measures, including those provided by our hosting provider, to protect personal information. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. Children
The site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
